Changing Weather – Rodent Invasion

Weather causing rodent and pest problems?

As the weather changes insects and rodents know of impeding weather changes before we do. Protect your home by being proactive. Get your extermination company to treat your windows and door seals to protect insect from penetrating your home. They can also place mouse bait in your attic or crawl space. Other options are to install bait boxes just outside of doorways under your bushes, stairways, or decks to prevent mice from entering your home.

Garages are easily accessible to rodents because you leave the door open as you are pulling your car into safety. This gives the rodent plenty of time to find a place to hide inside before you even get out of the car. You are busy getting into your home and don’t even notice them. By the time you put up your groceries they have already found a new nesting spot out of sight. Your crumbs are now their food source. It only takes 20 days for them to have babies and now you are infested with rodents. In 50 days the first litter can then have babies. If you wait till just before the holidays to do something you could have will over 100 mice that have to be removed. By the time you hear them they will be running across your ceilings disturbing your sleep. They are now living in your attic insulation and chewing on your wiring. This is a big expense when you could have prevented it by being proactive.
